Cannabis Feminizing Formula
Polllen dropped from the male flowers created with NoGreedSeeds' Cannabis Feminizing Formula (CFF) Spray will contain ONLY female (XX) chromosomes, and can be used to pollenate the same plant (S1) or others of her kind (F1) to create the same strain of feminized seeds. These feminized seeds can only grow female plants, without the worry of hermaphroditism. We do this with a proven method using High-PPM Colloidal Silver that we create ourselves at NGS. This is similar to many other Colloidal Silver solutions available online and elsewhere. However, NGSs CFF spray is a Super High-PPM (NOT CREATED FOR USE ON HUMANS) Colloidal Silver solution, strictly intended for transforing cannabis plants (entire or partial) sexuality for use in the production of Feminized Cannabis Seeds.
Colloidal silver (commonly abbreviated CS) suppresses ethylene production in bud sites, stimulating male characteristics. Spraying selected leaves, branches and – in cases where a large amount of seed is desired – whole plants with colloidal silver solution has become a preferred method of obtaining feminized seeds.
Most plants treated with CS will turn intersex within 2 weeks of triweekly treatment, producing viable pollen within 4 weeks.
There are many ways to cause female plants to switch genders. Stress brings out hermaphroditic traints, which is not the goal. What follows is our techinique using CS to create feminized seed. These instructions are also included with each bottle.
Recommended usage of NoGreedSeeds Cannabis Feminizing Formula (CFF) to create Feminized Seeds:
- 2 weeks into Flowering, select a vibrant and strong female plant with plenty of branches.
- Mark and Isolate a branch of the plant for Misting. (a plastic bag or sheet of tin foil folded around the base of the branch, shielding the rest of the plant from the mist)
- Mist the last two flowering nodes on the branch with 3-5 pumps of CFF, 2-3x per day (at lights on/off) over at least 7 to as many as 10 days. 1-2 pumps of CFF from 2-3 different angles to get good coverage is best.
- Wait for flowers to Form, it will take about 2 weeks for them to appear and another 2-3 to mature. These male pollen sacks may not pop open depending on the strain you are working with. If so, collect a pod of flowers, and allow them to dry on a DARK GLASS Plate. Once dried, they should easily pop open by rubbing them. Collect the released pollen.
- Isolate the Female Cannabis plant before Pollination or you'll end up with pollen AND seeds where you don't expect them.
- You can use a small paint brush to apply the pollen to the female bracts (flowers) selectively, or you can blow them all over the plant with a strong WOOSH, and let a fan and nature do the rest. (isolation is key in the latter scenario)
- Once the females have been pollenated, the seeds will take 4-6 weeks to fully ripen. Harvest must be postponed on these, until the seeds are fully dark brown and are ready to fall from the bracts by themselves.
