Colloidal Silver (CS) is an easy way to create feminized seeds.
First, the Colloidal Silver needs to measured and confirmed to be higher than 25 PPM, and then kept stored in a dark place, as it easily reacts with light. There are many ways to apply it, from an eye dropper, to q-tip to spray bottle. Immediately after identifying a sturdy female to convert for pollen production, spray several pumps of CS at lights on and lights off, over the course of 7-10 days. In most cases, the plant will respond with the production of male flowers, but don't stop there.Continue to spray until the male pods visibly begin to open, and stop then to prevent the pollen from becoming moldy or just not flying to the stamens of the awaiting ladies. Once the male pods open and start dropping their pollen, it's just a matter of applying it where you want it. In some strains, conversion can be problematic in that the flower pods will not open. In this case, cut a cluster of pods off, and put them on a dark plate for 24-48 hours. they will dry and start dropping their pollen (tho they may need a little rub to open up). When they do, you can spread it as needed.
